BECOME EMPOWERED TO USE NATURAL SOLUTIONS TO HELP YOUR KIDS TO HEAL AND TO THRIVE

As a professional teacher, I am immersed in the culture of chronically ill children in the United States. From the kids who collapse during physical education classes or sports due to asthma, to the ones who suffer from allergies and miss activities and classes, and the children’s whose personalities are altered due to the psychotropic medications they take for ADHD, autism, or anxiety, to the ones who are obese and whose health is suffering in multiple ways, America’s children are struggling to be healthy. The saddest part is that they don’t know why and for the most part, neither do their parents. The empowering part is that there are reasons why all of this is happening and there are natural steps that people can take to help their kids to recover and to be healthier.

Eventually, kids are going to grow up. Here are some eye opening and very sobering statistics that highlight the state of health in our world and illustrate the urgency that changes in our approach toward health are necessary:

  • 1.5 billion people worldwide suffer from chronic pain, and pain affects more Americans than Coronary Heart Disease, Cancer, and Diabetes combined.
  • 50 million people currently suffer from autoimmune disorders in the United States, with numbers rising.
  • Currently, in the United States, 1 in 59 children are diagnosed with autism, 1 in 10 are diagnosed with ADHD, 6 million children have food allergies, and 12.5 million children are obese.
  • More than 400 million people are living with diabetes worldwide.
  • 350 million people worldwide suffer from depression.
The Global Burden of Disease reports, “It has been estimated that by the year 2020, depression will be the second leading cause of disability throughout the world, trailing only ischemic heart disease.”
  • There are approximately 14 million new cases of cancer worldwide per year.
There were 8.2 million cancer related deaths in 2012.
The WHO shares that “The number of new cases is expected to rise by about 70 percent over the next 2 decades.”
  • According to the National Institute of Mental Health, the number of diagnoses for bipolar disorder in children and adolescents has increased 40 percent over the last decade and doubled for adults in the same time period.

The allopathic treatments for all of the above are toxic and have numerous side effects. There are natural ways and they involve you becoming empowered.

The first step to take in helping your children is to accept the fact that there are things that you can and must do yourself. You simply cannot rely solely upon any medical professional to do this work for you. Due to the fact that we live in a world that is filled with toxic energies in multiple forms, it takes consistent, diligent action in our everyday lives in order to be able to thrive here. This is especially true for our children. The more medications we take to ease symptoms, the less we address the underlying issues that are causing the issues in the first place. It is these issues that require our attention and action.

Once you accept that you have to take action on behalf of your child’s health and well-being, there is another step that will allow you to powerfully move forward. You have to realize that you have been taught many things that are not true about health and nutrition, and that when the human brain learns something, it becomes conditioned to act in ways that are in alignment with that information. In order to override that conditioning, you have to #1 learn something new, and #2 experience putting that knowledge into action.

When you choose to follow a new path, you may experience some resistance, both from within yourself and from people who are not yet ready to embrace something new. It is how you react to this resistance that will determine your success in moving forward. Remember that what we are doing in the mainstream right now is not helping our kids to be able to live healthy lives to their highest potentials without medications. A new path is necessary. You will have to override the messages that your mind sends to you that are in alignment with the old knowledge and habits. When you do this enough times, they will eventually stop coming into your awareness. Your child deserves to be healthy and happy. You deserve to be healthy and happy. These require a different lifestyle approach and you can do it. Tell yourself this until you fully believe it. You can do something new.

Once you have accepted that you have the power to do things yourself that will help your child, and that doing this involves gaining new knowledge about health and nutrition that it out of the mainstream, you are ready to take action! You can do this. Start here with my free Guide to Clean Living and Eating.
